Gil, who was born on 13 May 1912 was one of the jazz and big band world's most influential arrangers of the second half of the 20th Century. Featuring a variety of Gil's work written for trumpeter Miles Davis, singer Astrud Gilberto and guitarist Kenny Burrell.
