When Marie discovers Lucy’s left her oyster card in the café, Ian‘s furious to realise Mandy and Lucy lied about Mandy’s visit to Lorraine. Mandy tries to apologise, Ian storms out. Ian downs Absinthe in the Vic with Billy and Anthony. Later, Mandy’s helping Lucy revise when a drunk Ian storms in. He orders Mandy to the café, insists Lucy’s going on a crammer revision course and violently smashes cup against the wall. Upset, Lucy flees.
Derek has a delivery of Absinthe and pays Tyler in booze for loan of his van. Keen to get the family out of the way, Derek gives Carol £200 for train tickets to visit Bianca in Suffolk but they’re delayed when Ricky’s late dropping off Liam. Billy arrives early with the van full of Absinthe. Derek pleads to store it in the house. Carol refuses and cancels the trip. Billy gets drunk and vows to stand up to Derek but bottles it. Later, Carol announces they’re moving to Suffolk to be closer to Bianca. Whitney refuses to go.
Tanya fusses around Lauren and plans a special family lunch. Lauren notes all the alcohol’s been hidden. On the market, Cora’s convinced Lauren’s buying Absinthe off Winston. Over a stilted lunch, Lauren’s outraged at Cora’s accusation, produces a special edition Banarama CD she bought for Tanya and slams out of the house. Lauren, Whitney and Lucy confide their family woes. Whitney produces a bottle of Absinthe. Lauren vows her parents haven’t seen anything yet.

Whitney tells Tyler she’s late. He’s horrified and she storms off. Tyler discusses fatherhood with Michael, and buys a Leyton Orient babygro from the market. Carol discovers a pregnancy website on Whitney’s laptop and confronts her. Whitney’s pregnancy test is negative; she’s hurt by Tyler’s relief. He doesn’t show Whitney the babygro.
