Interviews
Ben Lillie
Ben is the Project Director at The Rock, a Christian project providing challenging activities for young people, from urban street sports to essential life skills. Ben was a youth minister before he started The Rock, and says he wants to be the hands and feet of Christ – serving those youngsters that are disaffected.
Sandi Ncube
Sandi was involved with the political Liberty Party in her native Zimbabwe. Several years ago, she was arrested whilst at a peaceful protest against Robert Mugabe’s government. When in police custody, Sandi was intimidated and attacked, even though she was innocent. Sandi is now a resident in the UK and says that her faith has helped her overcome her past traumas.
Vi Donovan
Vi and her husband Ray lost their son Chris in a random attack by a gang of youths in 2001. Vi was originally incredibly angry but through the strength she found in her faith, she has since been able to forgive her son’s killers. For the past 7 years both Ray and Vi have worked in prisons and are huge advocates of the power of forgiveness and restorative justice. -
