Shaun continus to look back through the years as BBC Radio 6 Music Celebrates: 10 Years. Shaun is joined live in studio by Matt Everitt for an irreverent take on the day's music news. And as for the soundtrack? We're talking...The Smiths, The Beatles, Friendly Fires, Bon Iver, Emmy The Great, A Tribe Called Quest, Bowie, Prince, MGMT... need we go on?

All this plus author John Niven joins Shaun after 9am to chat about his new book 'The Second Coming'. John's best known for Kill Your Friends, his satiric take on the music industry, and his latest book, The Second Coming' follows Jesus Christ as he returns to Earth to try and clear up the mess humankind has made of planet. His mission is to spread God's message, "be nice", and finding himself in a modern LA, Jesus finds his way onto an American version of the X Factor and talks to the world from this very modern platform.

John also reprises the character of Steven Stelfox from Kill Your Friends, catching up with him now he's a judge on X Factor.
