Mark Carwardine
is a naturalist, conservationist, writer and TV presenter. He has written many books on various aspects of wildlife. He first became well known 20 years ago as Douglas Adams’s companion in travelling the world in the radio series Last Chance to See. Over the years Mark has travelled to the world’s wildlife hotspots. His latest book ‘Ultimate Wildlife Experiences’ is a selection of his favourite places in the world to watch wildlife.

James Parry
is a wildlife travel writer, who has just made a special study of the world’s desert. His passion was kindled by some of the late 19th and early 20th Century explorers like Gertrude Bell, Bertram Thomas and Wilfred Thesiger, who he met in person a few years ago at the Royal Geographical Society. James has written his desert experiences and research into special conservation issues in a new book entitled ‘The desert – Wildlife on the Last Frontier’.

Andy Rouse
is an award-winning wildlife photographer. His patience, nerves of steel and iron constitution are some of the qualities which enables Andy to spend many long hours in all kinds of conditions waiting for the perfect shot of wildlife. Andy has just completed 49 treks to Rwanda escorting people to see the mountain gorillas. Andy has also taken groups to India and the arctic hoping that people will go back as ambassadors for the wildlife they’ve experienced.
