Professor David Clough
Professor Clough is Acting Head of Department and Professor of Theological Ethics at the University of Chester. He chats with Aled about the role of zoos in society and the importance of animals in our lives.
Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School, Coventry
Aled visited the school and meet pupils who share their playgrounds with animals including Alpacas. He chats with Sean O’Donovan who set up the farm 37 years ago.
Tony & Sandra Lewis
Tony & Sandra’s son Conrad was the 353rd British solider to die in Afghanistan. Whilst out there Conrad befriended a stray dog that he called Peg (Pegasus). After Conrad’s death Tony and Sandra have managed to bring Peg back to the UK to live with them. They have also set up a charity 353.org that raises money in Conrad’s memory.
Canon Diane Cookson
Canon Cookson is vicar at St Saviour’s Church in Stockport. The church annually holds a pet service to celebrate their animal companions. Canon Cookson and members of the congregation talk about why it’s important to hold pet services.
