This week, Mike speaks to celebrated melodeon player Andy Cutting about his remarkable career in British folk music.
Andy first appeared on the folk scene working with Chris Wood, Blowzabella and Fernhill. He has since gone on to make significant contributions to the works of June Tabor, Kate Rusby and Martin Simpson, and collected two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards for Musician Of The Year in the process. He has even performed with The Who.
As Andy gears up for a solo tour, he talks to Mike about his career to date and explains the attraction and potential of the diatonic button accordion.
