Synopsis
With guest Motown legend Martha Reeves. Martha and the Vandellas were responsible for classic tracks such as Nowhere to Run, My Baby Loves Me, I'm Ready For Love, Jimmy Mack, and Motown anthem, Dancing In The Street. Fifty years ago the young Martha Lavaille started her career in the A+R department of the Motown label in Detroit where she looked after Little Stevie Wonder.
After a year of working there she caught the eye of label boss Berry Gordy and the band recorded their debut album Martha and the Vandellas.
