Synopsis
Bob's session guest is 2011 CMA New Artist nominee Eric Church.
Despite being nominated in the New Artist category Eric's recording career actually started in 2006 with his debut album 'Sinners Like Me'.
The follow up was 2009's 'Carolina' which included the top ten hits 'Love Your Love The Most' and 'Hell on the Heart'. His recent single 'Drink In My Hand' which he performed at the 2011 CMA awards reached number one on the country charts at the beginning of this year.
In a session recorded in Nashville during CMA awards week Eric talks about the growth of his career and plays songs from his recent chart topping album 'Chief' .
Plus there's new music from John Lilly, the Sweetback Sisters & Joe Pug, alongside classics from Johnny Cash, the Stanley Brothers & Mary Chapin Carpenter.
