Missing People

Missing People offers a lifeline for the 250,000 people who run away and go missing each year in the UK. For those left behind, the charity provides specialised support to ease the heartache and confusion, and helps search for their missing loved ones.

If you have run away from home or care, been forced to leave home, or if you are thinking about running away, please contact the free, confidential 24-hour Runaway Helpline service on 0808 800 70 70 or text 80234.

If you think someone may be looking for you and would like to pass a message home in confidence to say you are safe and well, please contact the confidential, free Message Home service on 0800 700 740 or email messagehome@missingpeople.org.uk.

Parents & Abducted Children Together (PACT)

Parents & Abducted Children Together (PACT) is a non-profit organisation registered in the UK and the US. Their mission is the protection and retrieval of children who go missing for whatever reason. For more information, visit their website at pact-online.org.

Reunite International (National Council for Abducted Children)

Reunite International (National Council for Abducted Children) provides advice, support and information to parents, family members or guardians on preventing abduction, as well as those whose children have been abducted. Visit their website at reunite.org.

Samaritans

Samaritans provides confidential non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. Contact the Samaritans by phone on 08457 90 90 90, 24 hours a day, or visit samaritans.org.
