Presenter Paul Martin is joined by antiques experts Anita Manning and David Fletcher at Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. Anita is enthralled by a Charles Brannam studio pot, David learns all about the history of the Sunday stick and Paul discovers a pair of pistols that make a real bang in the saleroom.
Paul also takes time out to explore the nearby Gibside estate and uncovers the scandalous story of the Countess of Strathmore and her con-man husband, Stoney Bowes.
