Synopsis
Each week Aled Jones plays tracks from a broad musical spectrum, that celebrates both our choral traditions and the vibrant world of modern music as well as spiritually uplifting and reflective music. He also discusses religious and ethical issues of the week with faith representatives.
Aled Jones says Good Morning Sunday to a survivor of the Bosnian Genocide, Kemal Pervanic. Our faith guest is Rabbi Pete who will also bring our 'moment of reflection.'.

Rabbi Pete Tobias
Rabbi Pete Tobias is a writer and broadcaster, and Rabbi of The Liberal Synagogue Elstree. Rabbi Pete is well known to Radio 2 listeners, appearing on Good Morning Sunday and Pause for Thought on Chris Evans’ weekday show. Rabbi Pete grew up in the Elstree area and began his working life as a primary school teacher. He trained for the rabbinate and served in Birmingham and Glasgow before joining The Liberal Synagogue Elstree. Rabbi Pete is principal of the synagogue’s Religion School and runs regular adult education classes, bar- and bat-mitzvah classes, hosts Shabbat suppers, as well as leading services, officiating at life cycle events and advising congregants and potential members. He is also the driving force behind the synagogue's teenage rock band, 'Shul of Rock'.
