Barry and Stuart

Returning for their second series of The Magicians, Scottish duo Barry and Stuart bring a unique blend of dark humour and subversive, mind-bending magic to the stage.

Details

One-time archrivals, Barry and Stuart met at the age of 13 while competing for the title of Scottish Young Magician of the Year. Crossing paths again, years later at University, an irreverent double act was born.

We’ll be attempting to bring the viewers more devious and jaw-dropping magic than they’ve ever seen before Barry and Stuart

Since then, they’ve built a cult online following and enjoyed huge success at the Edinburgh Festival four years running. Their repertoire pushes physical boundaries and challenges perceptions of the possible and impossible. Barry and Stuart must be seen, to be believed.

Barry and Stuart will be joined by a host of celebs each week including stars of Outnumbered, Tyger Drew-Honey and Daniel Roche, choreographer and Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood, former Heavyweight Champion boxer, David Haye, Holby City actress, Tina Hobley, MasterChef judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, stand-up comedian and actor, Ed Byrne.
