Aled Jones says Good Morning Sunday to the actor John Thompson, well known for his role in the 90s drama series Cold Feet and his more recent appearances in Coronation Street. John visits Aled in the Salford studios and talks about his career and his memories of being an altar boy. Aled's faith guest is Chick Yuill, who brings a moment of reflection.

    Chick Yuill

    Chick Yuill is a speaker and writer. His latest book, 'Moving in the Right Circles', has recently been published by IVP and focusses on what it means to be an effective and attractive follower of Jesus in today's world. He also spearheads the Imagine Project in the North West of England, working alongside churches to help them become the kind of communities that equip the people in their congregations to live out their Christian faith in their daily lives.

  • John Thompson

    Comedian and actor John Thompson leapt to fame in the hit show The Fast Show. He went on to appear in shows such as Soldier Soldier and Men Behaving Badly before landing the role of Pete Gifford in Cold Feet. John was adopted as a baby through the Catholic Children's Rescue Society and was raised in Salford. His adoptive parents were devout Catholics who encouraged John to attend Church. He served as an altar boy until he was 16 years of age. John is currently involved in promoting men's health issues.
