Implants and Facial Fillers
As the government deals with the fall-out from faulty breast implants given to tens of thousands of British women, concern is now being raised about the safety of one of the most common cosmetic treatments – dermal filler injections designed to smooth out wrinkles and fill out lips and cheeks. No medical training is required to inject them and they are readily available at high street beauty clinics and on-line. So how safe are they, and what do you need to know if you’re considering having a dermal filler injection? Jenni Murray speaks to David Ross, Senior Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Guys and Thomas’s Hospital in London, and Newby Hands, Beauty Director of Harpers Bazaar Magazine.

Child Support Agency
Resident parents chasing an ex-partner for child maintenance could be charged up to £100 by the CSA for its help in pursuing the money under proposed changes to the agency. They would also face standing charges of between seven and 12 percent for the CSA to administer the payments. The government says it cannot go on facilitating conflict between parents at huge expense, and the changes are necessary to give tax payers a fairer deal. But what impact could the proposals have on families who are unable reach an amicable agreement over child maintenance? Jenni speaks to Maria Millar, Minister for Disabled People, and to Fiona Weir, Chief Executive of Gingerbread.

HRH Princess Basma Bint Saud Bin Abdul Aziz is the youngest daughter of King Saud and niece to Saudi Arabia’s current ruler. She is a rare exception among the 15,000 strong royal family as she has a critical view of the ruling powers in Saudi Arabia. Cook the Perfect... Meatballs… with Maria Elia
Inspired by her experience cooking in her Greek Cypriot father's restaurant, Maria Elia always had her heart set on becoming a chef. After a rigorous apprenticeship, Maria took positions in a wide range of restaurants and cookery schools in the UK and abroad including Bangkok’s Oriental Cooking School, El Bulli in Spain, London's Delfina restaurant and the Whitechapel Gallery. She is now Executive Chef of Joe’s in Kensington. She was voted one of the Top 10 Female Chefs by the Independent. She joins Jenni to cook her version of the perfect meatballs. A childhood favourite, her version is Cosy Lamb Meatballs, combined with a hint of spice, and gently cooked with Dino's Greek pea and tomato sauce, which she likes to served with mashed potatoes.
