Synopsis

Nitin Sawhney brings his eclecticism to Radio 2 in a series exploring music from all cultures and traditions. From flamenco to pop, rock to Indian classical, punk to electronica, reggae to drum 'n' bass, orchestral and folk, Nitin joins the dots between music and cultures around the globe.

The producer, songwriter, DJ, multi-instrumentalist, and orchestral composer, has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras and musicians, including Paul McCartney, The London Symphony Orchestra, A.R. Rahman, Brian Eno, Anoushka Shankar, Jeff Beck, Shakira, Will Young and Taio Cruz. Performing extensively around the world, he has achieved an international reputation, often appearing as Artist in Residence, curator or Musical Director at international festivals.
