    Chris De Burgh

    Chris De Burgh can lay claim to international success spanning three decades since his very first release in 1975 of his debut album, ‘Far Beyond These Castle Walls’, featuring a single, ‘Flying’, which spent 17 weeks at No. 1 in Brazil.

    Chris has amassed over 200 gold and platinum discs and between 1975 and 2005 he’d performed a staggering 3000 concerts – that’s one every three and a half days over a 30 years period.


    Ysgol Pen Barras

    Ysgol Pen Barras entered the School Choir of the Year competition for the very first time this year and in April at the Sheffield City Hall they were crowned champions - the first ever Welsh School to win.
