Synopsis
Suzi Quatro travels from California to Paris to look for the real Jim Morrison, the man behind the image. Contributors include Doors keyboard player Ray Manzarek; Jim's friends Alice Cooper and Paul Ferrara; current Doors manager Jeff Jampol; and record producer Bruce Botnick, the last man to work with Morrison in the studio.
The Doors singer and lyricist died at the age of 27 [the same age as Janis Joplin and Amy Winehouse - who both feature on Radio 2 this week] and is buried in the Père Lachaise Cemetery, a popular destination for rock-n-roll pilgrims.
