Bappi Lahiri

Gagan is in conversation with the music maestro Bappi Lahiri, who joins Live from Mumbai. Bappi's latest soundtrack Oo Lala is on top of the music charts around the world.

Known as the Disco King, Bappi Lahiri was born as Alokesh Lahiri on 27 November 1952. He was responsible for revolutionising Hindi film industry with the introduction of disco music. In the 80s, he composed music for hit movies like Disco Dancer, Namak Halaal and Sharaabi.
