Glaswegian band Snowgoose in session this fine fettle of an evening.

Snowgoose is based on a nucleus of seminal Glaswegian musicians Jim McCulloch(Soup Dragons,Bmx Bandits,Isobel Campbell), Dave McGowan(Teenage Fanclub,Isobel Campbell) and the breathtaking vocals of Somerset-born and bred Anna Sheard.

Joining them on their musical journey are guitar maestro Raymond McGinley(Teenage Fanclub),and drummer /musical prodigy Stuart Kidd.

Harmony Springs is their first album and was recorded in Norfolk at Leeders Farm Studios and in Glasgow at Raymond McGinley's home studio.

The album features a stellar cast of additional musicians.........
Norman Blake(Teenage Fanclub) on vocals
John McCusker....Uber-folkmeister on fiddle Dave McCluskey (Bluebells and McCluskey Bros) on Hammer Dulcimer Peter Domberknowsky(Giant Sand) on percussion.

Theirs is a fusion of richly melodic folk-rock and Anna Sheard's uniquely beautiful and quintessentially English voice.

Written mostly by McCulloch, the songs on Harmony Springs were inspired by Jim hearing Sheard sing after McGowan suggested he listen to her voice, after he had heard her sing in the kitchen once or twice at a mutual friend's flat.

Harmony Springs will be released mid-November in a ltd run of a unique handcrafted-cover vinyl album,Compact Disc, and, of course ,digital download.
