Wednesday sees comedian and now author Rufus Hound join us in the studio. He has co-hosted Glastonbury and Top of the Pops with Fearne Cotton, sparred with Marcus Brigstocke on Argumental, done silly things with Keith Lemon on Celebrity Juice & said some quite interesting things on QI. Despite all these TV appearances, Rufus's first love will always be live stand-up and he's had plenty of practice putting down hecklers.

His new book is all about hecklers. On one hand, the drunk at the back of the room yelling incoherent nonsense can ruin the evening for everyone. But on the other, a funny, well-timed heckle can really ramp up the laughter in the room. He chats with Shaun about his list of 200 of his favourite put-downs from his friends on the current circuit, from past comedy legends and from his own performances.

Matt Everitt will be in the studio with all the music news and we'll be asking once more for your earworms before 8am. Add to this a kicking playlist from The Kills to Kraftwerk; The Beatles to The Band and our usual Wednesday feature 'Pendants Corner' and we smash Wednesday out of the park.
