Continuing the Presenter Season on Friday Night is Music Night - the UK's longest running live music programme - Paul O'Grady hosts a special Armistice Day concert. Recorded at London's Hackney Empire, Paul pays tribute to our service men and women past and present (many of whom are in the audience) in this Forces Special. Forces sweetheart Katherine Jenkins tops the bill while Helena Blackman and Ben Stock recreate their roles as Getrude Lawrence and Noel Coward from the hit show Noel and Gertie. Richard Balcombe conducts the 70 piece BBC Concert Orchestra as Friday Night Is Music Night re-creates the spirit of ENSA.

And in a special interval feature, with November 11th 2011 marking the 90th anniversary of the very first Poppy Appeal, long standing ambassador of the Poppy Appeal, TV presenter Lorraine Kelly tells the fascinating story of how the simple flower came to be adopted as the internationally recognised symbol of remembrance.
