Ian Hislop talks to Matt Baker and Alex Jones about the 50th anniversary of Private Eye. Plus the true stories that inspired War Horse and how robots are invading our hospitals.

  • Cyberknife – a correction:

On the show broadcast on Tuesday 18th October, during an item on robotic technology in medicine, Dr Sarah Jarvis mistakenly referred to the Cyberknife radiosurgery system as being in an experimental phase. In fact it has been in clinical use for a number of years and is a non-surgical , non-invasive system for the precise treatment of tumours and other medical conditions that have previously been considered inoperable or untreatable. There are currently a number of these systems in use in the UK. We apologise for any confusion this mistake may have caused.
