Live from Dale Farm

Duration:
3 hours
First broadcast:
Wednesday 19 October 2011

Live News and Sport from Aasmah Mir at Dale Farm and Peter Allen at the studio in Salford Quays.
The clearing of the largest illegal travellers site in the UK continues. Aasmah Mir comes live from the site and talks to travellers, councillors and nearby residents of Dale Farm in Essex.

Almost half a million pupils in England missed the equivalent of one month's school between autumn 2010 and spring this year due to truancy. Peter Allen speaks to children who have skipped school, teachers and behavioural specialist Charlie Taylor who's been given responsibility by the government for tackling the problem. Solicitor Robert Wade and truant expert Ken Reid debate what should be done about it.
