Masterbake Day 1

Monday sees Shaun Keaveny taking a rib-tickling satirical romp through the day's news and events, with the perfect morning soundtrack for any music-lover; from northern soul to new folk; rock 'n' roll to indie disco. New tracks from the likes of Laura Marling and White Denim delightfully wrap around your semi-conscious ears, along with the best of the greatest back catalogues on the planet; be they The Smiths, The Stones, The Clash or The Jam.

Monday also sees us kick off our week long feature 'MasterBake 2011'. After it's success last year we've decided to recycle this amazing idea that sees a different member of the team cooking each day for a celebrity judge. Last year Alex Carter won with a lovely moist cake. This time around though we're cooking with a musical theme. Expect cakes and pasties based around perhaps some Bob Marley 'Jammin' doughnuts? Our special guest judge, food writer Richard Johnson joins after 9am, to taste, to judge and perhaps even to praise!
