Joining Jools on the third show of the series is the UK's female folk star, singer-songwriter Laura Marling, with songs from her current LP A Creature I Don't Know. Also, from Nashville, The Silver Seas, who formed when producer Jason Lehning met singer-songwriter Daniel Tashian, son of 60s garage rock legend Barry Tashian of The Remains. They perform songs from their pop rock album Chateau Revenge, which has been described as reminiscent of late-70s AOR recordings. From Jamaica, Jools is joined by reggae singer Little Roy, who has recorded an album of Nirvana songs entitled Battle For Seattle, reworking and giving the likes of Lithium and Come As You Are a new twist and life.
Also in the studio, US duo Joy Williams and John Paul White - aka The Civil Wars - who met at a Nashville songwriter session and have recently supported Adele on her UK tour.
