Before the tree surgeons arrived..listen to Matthew's new garden being gradually transformed..
Felling leylandii safely
Tree surgeons use guide ropes when felling trees in enclosed spaces to ensure the tree falls in the direction intended and avoids neighbours' fences, buildings etc.
REDESIGNING AN URBAN GARDEN
Once the problematic trees are removed designer Matthew Wilson can mark out the shape of the planned new borders. These will be excavated then the soil improved with the addition of organic matter.
