Mike Harding presents an hour of the very best in folk, roots and acoustic music and talks to singer and guitarist Steve Tilston about his new album The Reckoning.

Steve has been a favourite on the British folk scene since his 1971 debut, An Acoustic Confusion. A consummate guitarist, Steve has worked with Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, and is known to many for his work with Maggie Boyle. His songs have been covered by the likes of Fairport Convention, Dolores Keane and Peter Bellamy [The Slipjigs & Reels, The Naked Highwayman and Here's To Tom Paine].

On this week's programme, Steve looks back over his career so far and tells Mike Harding about the subjects that inspired his latest works, from the songs on The Reckoning to his novel All For Poor Jack.
