When the residents of Tideswell in the Peak District applied for a grant from the Big Lottery Fund to set up a food business, they had no idea what was in store. With local shops closing at an alarming rate, the volunteers have bitten off a huge challenge.

  • What's happened since the programme aired?

    Even before the programme finished Tideswell felt the impact with a massive surge on both websites that knocked them out momentarily. Next day the village was buzzing and the phones and email went wild. They've had lots of bookings, warm wishes, and enquiries which continue to flood in.
