Target TB
Target TB's vision is a world free from tuberculosis – a curable and preventable disease. We work in partnership with local charities in Africa and Asia, to reach some of the poorest people in the world who have little access to basic healthcare.
We provide treatment and support for people with TB, preventative health education and training of volunteer carers - like Jenny who looks after Margaret in our appeal.
We target the causes and effects of the disease to save lives and to empower people with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves and their families long into the future
Target TB
We train volunteer TB carers, like Jenny. Her life is hard enough, living in poverty in rural Zambia, but she helped her neighbour Margaret to survive TB and get back on her feet to care for her six children.
Target TB
Margaret was bedridden with TB and couldn't work or buy food for her family. Food and essentials packages like this help people to get strong and well and feed their loved ones.
Target TB
TB isn't just curable, it's preventable. We get life-saving messages into the heart of communities in all kinds of engaging ways, starting with our skilled volunteers who give information to the people they help.
