Synopsis
Jo Whiley presents the very best in live music with a headline concert from Laura Marling, recorded at the BBC's Maida Vale studios last week in front of an audience of 100 Radio 2 listeners.
This is Laura Marling's first Radio 2 concert. Aged only 21, she has just released her third album 'A Creature I Don't Know'. Laura's previous two albums both received nominations for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize and earlier this year, Laura won the Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist.
Jo Whiley is also joined live in the studio by Michael Kiwanuka who will perform a couple of songs in this week's Support Slot. She also looks back at all the live sessions on Radio 2 over the past week and reveals who has released tickets for up-and-coming tours in this week's Gig Guide.
