Jamie Cullum showcases his love for all types of jazz, and music rooted in jazz, from its heritage to the future.

This week, Jamie chats to the American jazz trumpeter and bandleader Terence Blanchard about his fascinating career to date, including working with the likes of Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers and Herbie Hancock.

Terence and his band perform tunes from his latest tour in a session recorded at the BBC Maida Vale studios.
