Agathe Villanova is a feminist author and electoral candidate who returns to her childhood home in the south of France in the wake of her mother's death. While rekindling her bond with younger sister Florence and sorting through her own relationship problems, Agathe agrees to take part in the filming of a documentary about her life and career. The film is produced by local filmmaker Michel in tandem with the son of Florence's Algerian housekeeper, Karim. Amidst illicit affairs, relationship failures and persistent incompetence, one little disaster piles up on top of another.
