HRH Princess Basma bint Saud bin Abd Al-Aziz al Saud is a Saudi princess and acknowledges that she belongs to a privileged elite, but she writes a blog to draw attention to the plight of ordinary Saudi women. She describes their lives as slavery. But if she is right, what is her uncle, King Abdullah, doing to make things better and how might the winds of change from the Arab spring help?
