Hank Wangford
is a country and western musician and songwriter. In the seventies Hank also worked as a doctor in a drug recovery tent at music festival; his encounter with Gram Parsons led him to country music. Hanks also writes travel articles for some main stream newspapers. He has travelled extensively most recently to Hawaii to find out more about the paniolo, the islands’ cowboys, and their music which went on to influence country music.

Johan Andersson
is an artist he became the youngest ever person to be shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award and named as The Independent’s top 20 Artists 2008. His selected work was displayed at the National Portrait Gallery and in the same year he was also selected for the Jerwood Contemporary Painters prize.

Together with cellist Li Lu, they took part in a televised competition for a chance to win £10,000. ‘The Art of Survival’ documents their journey as they are stripped of their credit cards and forced compete with each other to raise as much money as possible travelling from Athens to Edinburgh. -
Li Lu
is from Zhengzhou in China, she has played the cello since the age of five. After performing with the National Ballet Orchestra in Beijing for almost two years she decided to become a soloist and successfully auditioned for the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. She finished her studies in 2008 and since then has been teaching at a music school in Manchester.

Kevin Barry White
is a touring busker who works as a tree surgeon in London when he’s not abroad. He plays English and Irish folk music on his accordion and has busked in Bali, Thailand, France, Spain and Ireland. Kevin was given his accordion and taught how to play by his late father who was a great busker.
