David Walliams, Miranda Hart, Catherine Tate and Rik Mayall are among the cream of British comedy leading the cast in this animation, created by children for children, which forms part of the Cultural Olympiad.
Thousands of children across the country contributed drawings, sound effects and story ideas to the film, which was brought together by Tate and Aardman Animations with additional support from the BBC, either by uploading images to the website or by attending one of the touring movie workshops held across the country.
Eleven-year-old Beanie's bland life is changed for ever when he is sent on a mission. Armed only with laser lip-gloss and a pair of blend-in pants he has to save his parents from Evil Stella and return the Golden Nit to its rightful place at the heart of the sun, thereby saving the universe.
