Friday Night Is Music Night teams up once again with musical theatre students from the Brit School, whose alumni include Adele, Amy Winehouse, Katie Melua, and Jessie J.

Performing with the BBC Concert Orchestra at London's Mermaid Theatre, the students' film-inspired repertoire spans the decades, with songs including To Sir, with Love, Pinball Wizard, I Sing the Body Electric [Fame], Let the River Run [Working Girl] and We Belong Together [Toy Story 3].

This concert forms part of Friday Night Is Music Night's Film Season, which will also feature songs from Shrek The Musical and a musical celebration of British film comedy.

Friday Night Is Music Night first collaborated with the Brit School back in 2008.
