Sir Terry Wogan eases you into your Sunday lunch with music and musings. This week, he invites John Inverdale in for a chat and Imelda May performs.

BBC man John Inverdale has been a radio and television broadcaster, mainly covering sports, for 30 years, starting out a BBC Radio Lincolnshire. In 1994 John became one of the main presenters on Radio 5 Live, and has since become a regular broadcaster for sporting events on BBC radio and television including Wimbledon, the Olympics, the football and rugby World Cups, the Ryder Cup and the London Marathon.

Irish singer-songwriter Imelda May started singing aged 16 in Dublin clubs and was sometimes barred from her own shows for being underage. She began singing professionally with the release of debut album No Turning Back in 2003 under her maiden name Imelda Clabby. Following a name change to May, Imelda released second album Love Tattoo in 2008, which reached No. 1 in the Irish Top 100 Album Chart. May won Female Artist of the Year at the 2009 Meteor Awards, and her third album, Mayhem, was released in 2010, reaching No. 7 in the UK charts. She is performing at Glastonbury music festival at the end of June.
