Louise Minchin presents the series which features emotional films about people missing from home and their families. Each film follows the police as they investigate high-risk and long-term cases supported by the Missing People organisation.
The programmes include appeals for information, moving studio interviews with the families left behind, and with families who have been reunited.
There are also special celebrity guest appearances, including Brenda Blethyn and Gaynor Faye, and updates on some famous Missing stories from the recent past.
