    Leicester's mayor candidates 'in the hot seat'

    Ten of the candidates standing for Leicester's first directly elected mayor have revealed where their priorities lie.

    Leicester residents will vote on 5 May to elect a mayor who will lead the city for four years.

    The new mayor will have the power to initiate policies across council services and will select up to nine councillors as a supporting cabinet.

    Regine Anderson, standing for the UK Independence Party (UKIP), declined to be filmed.
