Neil Ansell
has just published his first book, Deep Country an account of his experience of living on a remote hillside in Wales for five years. Having travelled for many years to more than fifty countries, Neil was offered the tenancy of a run down cottage in a secluded part of mid Wales for a minimal amount of money. Neil talks about the practicalities of day to day living without amenities, how he spent his time and how he dealt with solitude - until romance took him away.
