Synopsis

Belfast boys Cashier no 9 are live in session for Marc tonight. Plus Cowboy Rob Hughes rides into town with his Americana tunes.

With more swagger than a gaggle of Bobby Gillespie's Cashier's No 9s new EP is out this week. Produced by the legendary David Holmes and mixed by Hugo Nicloson, it was recorded in Belfast, LA and Paris. Accompanying them on the recordings are multi-instrumentalist Jason Falkner (who's played with the likes of Paul McCartney, Air and Beck) and harmonica legend Tommy Morgan . He played with Elvis and was on the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds! It's a promising start for a band that are only a year old!
