Anne Robinson presents My Life in Books
Books, they can make you laugh, they can make you cry; they might even change your life…
Anne Robinson presents My Life in Books, a special 10 part series for BBC TWO where each night Anne’s two guests share their five favourite books.
From authors Jeanette Winterson and PD James, actors Larry Lamb and Downton Abbey’s Elizabeth McGovern, political heavyweight Alastair Campbell to comedians Sue Perkins and Sarah Millican. Their choices will be surprising, emotional, good fun, and extremely personal.
Choices include bestselling children’s books The Hungry Caterpillar and Roald Dahl tales, classics of Austen and Bronte, great American literature, the magical realism of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and even a bit of Barbara Cartland romance.
This is a series for anyone who loves books in all their shapes and guises. -
