Talks could end mackerel dispute
A series of talks begin in Oslo this morning aimed at ending months of deadlock over mackerel catching arrangements in the north east Atlantic. Scottish fishermen have accused Iceland and the Faroe Islands of behaving irresponsibly after both countries more than doubled their mackerel quotas in recent years.
