The crisis in Egypt continues. Tahrir Square in Cairo was the scene of more violence overnight. In the penultimate half-hour, we speak to Khalid Abdalla, a British-Egyptian actor who says he has witnessed people being shot. Earlier in the programme, Mohammed and Bassem discuss whether President Mubarak should stay or go.

Up All Night hears from Clare Thomas, visiting relatives in Australia and finding herself caught in the path of Cyclone Yasi. She describes the panic of not knowing quite what to do.

Plus Dr Karl answers your science questions, including:

Why do modern cars not give you electric shocks as old ones used to? And do we buy fuel by volume or mass?

And there's the news that Farah Fawcett's red swimsuit is to become a museum piece.
