Synopsis
Each week Aled Jones plays tracks from a broad musical spectrum, that celebrates both our choral traditions and the vibrant world of modern music as well as spiritually uplifting and reflective music. He also discusses religious and ethical issues of the week with faith representatives.
Aled Jones says Good Morning Sunday to to singer Camilla Kerslake, the first artist to sign to Gary Barlow's record label. Aled's faith guest is Sarfraz Manzoor, who looks at the news of the week from a faith and ethical perspective, and gives the Moment of Reflection.
Camilla Kerslake
2010 was a busy year for Camilla Kerslake. She sang for The Queen at Derby Day in front of 140,000 people, for Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, at the Royal Albert Hall, at Wembley Stadium and she toured with The Priests in UK & Ireland. Plus her debut album was nominated for Best Album at the 2010 Classical BRIT Awards.
She’s been described as the next Katherine Jenkins and was the first signing to Gary Barlow’s record label, Future Records, after she bombarded him with her demo CDs and she’s about to release her second album.
