  • Count Arthur Strong - Series 6

Count Arthur Strong - one-time Variety Star and now sole proprietor & owner of Doncaster's 'Academy of Performance' - is a show-business legend, raconteur & lecturer extraordinaire.

In each of the 6 episodes of this sixth series we hear, as ever, a confused, muddled & often challenging 'day-in-the-life' of Count Arthur - with his mixed-up delivery of words and forthright self-delusion.

With all his false starts & nervous fumbling, badly covered up by a 'delicate' sheen of bravado & self-assurance, Arthur continues to be an 'expert' on everything - from the world of entertainment to the origins of the species.

Everyday life with Arthur is as always an enlightening experience, not to mention being a challenge for both himself and those around him!

In this latest series we see Arthur, amongst many other things, attempting to raise money (supposedly) for the Village Hall through the making of a calendar - starring, of course, himself and his loyal friends.
