As the former Labour MP David Chaytor is sentenced to 18 months in jail, we hear reaction from his friend and former Parliamentary colleague Barry Sheerman. Jonathan Aitken - who was imprisoned for perjury in 1999 - tells us what he can expect as an ex member of Parliament behind bars.

Sepp Blatter says he expects the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to take place in the winter. Our correspondent Gordon Farquhar finds out what's in store as he attends the Asian Cup opening match in Doha.

The party continues following Englands victory down under in the Ashes. The selector and former international Ashley Giles tells us England were fitter and more skillful, the hardiest member of the Barmy army tells us about his 21,000 kilometre cycle ride to Australia, and Ozzies here give us a lesson in how to lose gracefully.
