    As a Pure Mathematic graduate, Marija has honed her financial and commercial acumen predominately within the food sector. With 20 years experience in senior retail and commercial roles, Marija’s career has taken her from Sydney to Dallas and London.

    At Pepsi - Yum Restaurants International, Marija was responsible for the Profit and Loss accountability for all 700 company and franchise restaurants in UK and Ireland turning over in excess of £500m with 7,000 staff.

    Since 2008 Marija has been the CEO of Boparan Ventures Limited which owns the iconic Harry Ramsden’s brand. This role encompasses the full spectrum of acquisition, investment and corporate governance to turn a profit and grow the brand.

    In addition to her experience in the food arena, Marija has also been a Managing Director for the Nuffield Hospital Group.

    In her free time, Marija is an avid cricket fan cheering on the Australian team, she also enjoys dining out and sailing.

    Joe Cohen, Chief Executive & Founder, Seatwave

    Joe started the company in May 2006, and launched it in February 2007.
    Joe brings broad experience of the consumer internet space, having led three start-ups in the past ten years.

    Before founding Seatwave, Joe started and ran the international division of Match.com, (2001 until 2006) the global leader in online dating. As Chief Operating Officer at Match.com he oversaw the development and operations of the Match business in 35 countries and 18 languages.
    From 1999 until 2001, Joe was Vice President and General Manager of Ticketmaster.com for Europe where he was one of the pioneers of the European online ticketing industry. Prior to Ticketmaster, Joe worked for Citysearch where he was New Markets General Manager, responsible for the roll-out of the online city guide business in 20 cities in the US and Northern Europe.

    Joe lives in London with his wife Sofia and four children.

    Heather McGregor, MD Taylor Bennett

    Heather joined the executive search firm Taylor Bennett in 2000 and is now the company’s principal shareholder. She graduated from Newcastle University in 1984 and then worked in advertising and financial PR before joining an Anglo-Australian biotechnology company for five years doing their corporate communications and corporate finance. While there Heather studied for her MBA at the London Business School. Upon graduation she joined ABN AMRO’s equities division as an investment analyst and worked, over an eight-year period, in London, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.

    Heather has a PhD in structural finance from the University of Hong Kong and is a visiting professor at Cass, City University Business School. She is also an experienced journalist and regularly contributes to national newspapers and magazines.

    At Taylor Bennett, Heather focuses on investor relations and senior communications appointments for public companies in Europe, and in specialist communications for financial services organisations.
