A sumptuous beetroot cake, a lentil and chard stew and a beef and ale casserole are all put together effortlessly as Nigel inspires us with his culinary ideas.

Nigel also visits Derbyshire and helps keen gardeners Ian and Kathy create amazing food from their plot.

    It's got to be the beer and beef: really easy and I can always remember it. Tastes just amazing and warms me up. Definitely one for the cooler nights.

    Also the crack'l'ing pork belly – first time I've ever got my crackling right... Love it.

    My favourite has to be the pork belly and peach salsa. Blokey, yet tangy, which is not a combination you often find.

    The one that most impresses the kids is the PYO ice cream. I'd always assumed you needed a fancy machine to make ice cream but this one is so easy. And you can use any fruit - I used passion fruit and nectarine.
